Naperville North HS has 52 Camps Open for Registration

Naperville North High School is excited to announce our first ever Junior High Co-Ed Volleyball Clinic in April and May.  High School coaches and current players will facilitate the clinic.  The Sunday clinics will emphasize skill development with a culminating round robin tournament play on the final date.  Coaches will stress the importance of hard work, teamwork, and cooperation through various drills and physical training.  Prior experience is not required!  Come check out what Huskie Volleyball is all about!

Players will have the opportunity to improve and build on a variety of baseball skills, including hitting, fielding, pitching, and base-running.  Through the guidance of the Naperville North Coaching Staff, campers will be introduced to many of the drills and philosophies taught in our program.  Players will also have the chance to put their skills to the test in sandlot scrimmages.  Players will be divided based on age and ability.  Camp is open to grades 1-8 (NOTE: our High School Camp (Monday & Thursday) is also open to 8^th graders—sign-up for either camp based on preference).  Campers should report to the Varsity Baseball Field off 5^th Avenue.  ADDITIONAL NOTE: Any young campers that are also participating in the Huskie Youth Basketball Camp can/will be walked to the building by a camp coach.

June 12-July 28 . Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 7-9 am at North Central College. Athletes will participate in activities designed to maximize flexibility, strength, and endurance. The goal of the camp is for each runner to be in tremendous shape as they enter the fall season. The camp runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Athletes who register for this camp will also be automatically registered for the Yoga/Conditioning Camp on Tuesdays and Thursdays free of charge. It is perfectly acceptable for athletes to be gone for vacations and other camps throughout the seven weeks this camp runs.

The Boys Summer Gymnastics Camp is designed to provide a fun, athletic experience that focuses on physical development, coordination and body awareness. Beginners with no previous experience will be introduced to tumbling as well as all the apparatus. Intermediates, with some experience, will focus on tumbling with extended time spent on the other five events. The High School Camp will focus on skill development on the apparatus of each boy's choice. In addition, physical strength conditioning will be offered. All camps stress safety while aiming for the best possible gymnastics experience. Any boy who is even curios about this gymnastics will truly enjoy this camp.

This year's summer camp will feature a flexible format with each session being a stand-alone event.  Technique and live wrestling will be integrated into each session.  The creativity of wrestling will be emphasized in each position including: leg-attacks; throws; cradles; leg-wrestling; and of course take-downs.  Wrestling is a dynamic sport and thus our sessions will be geared towards expanding the comfort-zone of the athlete.
